I rarely review places, but after my recent visit to the Emirates Airlines New York Office I felt compelled to post. I have always been a loyal supporter of Emirates when flying—comfort, service, food, entertainment—you can name it. But this was my first time that I had to make a visit to one of their offices in person, and I must tell you, the ground service is just as good as the in-flight experience. I stopped by their New York branch in early April to ask for an upgrade and also verify visa needs for my travel to India through Dubai. I anticipated a speedy exchange, but what I received was a full-service, top-class experience that was more along the lines of a concierge service rather than a regular airline customer service desk. The staff were impeccably attired, polite, and exceedingly well-trained. The person who assisted me in representing me—her name was Amina—was extremely learned. Not only did she upgrade me, but she also explained my entire itinerary to me and showed me some additional legroom seat options. She even ensured that I had a double check on the layover time in Dubai to ensure that I had sufficient buffer in case of delay, and volunteered to send me a detailed breakdown through email, which was with me within minutes. The office itself is also noteworthy—nice seating, water bottles on hand, clean bathrooms, and a very efficient system for getting to see customers. I was able to observe that even when it got really busy, customers were being served in a prompt manner, and everyone left looking content. That doesn't happen often in airline offices anymore. Would definitely recommend it to anyone flying Emirates who needs support in person!
